Managing Metadata (The Editor)

The Manage Photos page is a powerful spreadsheet-style editor for your library.

Editing Photos

Click on any cell (Title, Description, Location, etc.) to edit it directly. Changes are *only saved when you click the Save All button.

Bulk Editing

You can edit multiple photos at once:

1. Select: Click on a row to select it. Hold Ctrl (or Cmd) to select multiple rows, or Shift to select a range.
2. Sidebar: A "Bulk Edit" panel will appear on the right.
3. Apply: Enter a value (e.g., "London" for City) and click Apply Changes. This updates all selected images instantly.

AI Tools

• Identify with AI: Select images and click this button to have AI generate a title and description based on the visual content.
• Highlight Missing: Click this to visually highlight rows that are missing important data (like Titles or Locations) in red.

Search & Filter

Use the search bar at the top to filter your view by keyword. This searches filenames, titles, and descriptions.
